While compiling the WinDriver module (windrvr.o for my version) under Linux ('make install' in the WinDriver directory) I receive the following error messages: usr/include/linux/modversions.h:1:2: #error Modules should never use kernel-headers system headers, /usr/include/linux/modversions.h:2:2: #error but headers from an appropriate kernel-source. What am I doing wrong? |
There are two possible reasons for this error:
For further information, refer to the "Installation And Setup" chapter of the WinDriver User's Manual for your WinDriver version. Beginning with version 6.23, WinDriver uses a different installation mechanism on Linux, which should prevent this error from occurring. Back to Top |
