Using WinDriver on Linux, I find that I need to reload the driver module (windrvr6.o) after each reboot. How can I set up dynamic loading of windrvr6.o?



For an automatic installation of windrvr6.o/.ko with each boot, add the following line to the file /etc/rc.d/rc.local:
    <path to wdreg>/wdreg windrvr6

In older versions of WinDriver you may need to add the following command to the rc.local file instead of wdreg:
    /sbin/modprobe windrvr6
(For v5.2.2 or earlier of WinDriver, replace "windrvr6" with "windrvr".)
