Jungo Software Technologies Inc., (www.jungo.com/openrg) a leading provider of residential gateway software and technologies, today announced the opening of new offices in Taipei, to extend its global reach and expand its local presence in the South Pacific region. Jungo's new offices will strengthen the Company's ability to penetrate the markets for broadband systems vendors and Original Equipment Makers (OEMs), and offer closer support to its customers, in the fast-growing South East Asian marketplace.
John Lin, a seasoned veteran with extensive experience in aggressively growing a variety of highly successful companies in South East Asia, will be joining Jungo as the Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region. With many years of senior management experience in System Software and network infrastructure companies, Mr. Lin most recently served as the Managing Director for South East Asia, for PCTEL Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a pioneer in software modems, holding 25% of the worldwide analog modem market share. Prior to this, he co-founded and served as the Vice President of Sales for NuCom Systems Inc, recognized as one of the leading switch makers in the Asia region, and subsequently acquired by Network Peripherals (NASDAQ: NPIX). Previously, he held senior positions at companies such as National Datacomm Corp, serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing, and formerly served as the Director of International Sales, at D-Link Systems Inc, the current leader in Networking Business in Taiwan. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
