Date & Time

To configure date, time and daylight savings time settings perform the following:

1. Click the 'Date and Time' icon in the 'Advanced' screen of the Web-based Management. The 'Date & Time' settings screen will be displayed (see figure 11.27).

2. Select the local time zone from the pull-down menu. OpenRG can automatically detect daylight saving setting for selected time zones. If the daylight saving settings for your time zone are not automaticlly detected, the following fields will be displayed:

   Enabled

   Select this check box to enable daylight saving time.

   Start

   Date and time when daylight saving starts.

   End

   Date and time when daylight saving ends.

   Offest

   Daylight saving time offset.

3. If you want the gateway to perform an automatic time update, perform the following:
   • Select the 'Enabled' checkbox under the 'Automatic Time Update' section.
   • Select the protocol to be used to perform the time update by selecting wither the 'Time of Day' or 'Network Time Protocol' radio button.
   • Specify how often to perform the update in the 'Update Every' field.
   • You can define time server addresses by pressing the 'New Entry' link on the bottom of the 'Automatic Time Update' section.
