Technology: Jungo Released OpenRG/OpenSMB v4.4 with Advanced Discovery, Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Capabilities
Main additions to V4.4 include discovery, diagnostics and troubleshooting features and tools to enable home users to easily detect and fix network problems. In addition, users will be able to discover services and applications that use the local network and the Internet connection. Operators will be able to use discovered data on applications and services for troubleshooting and QoS tuning. The new version also includes features such as IGMP snooping and fastleave to optimize service providers’ IPTV service deployment.

Silicon: Jungo Announces a New Software/Hardware Reference Design for Residential and Business Gateways
Conexant and Jungo have collaborated to deliver a reference design platform with ADSL 2+,
WLAN and USB capabilities for the multi-service gateway market.
The reference design platform blends Conexants' field-proven CX9451x chip set with Jungo's OpenRG software.
The platform is targeted at ADSL2+ gateway manufacturers, telcos, and ISPs that want to provide their end users
with higher-functionality CPE units.

Conference & EXPO West 2006 Jungo’s CEO, Mr. Ofer Vilenski, will Discuss Quality of Service as a Triple Play Enabler at Leading IP Communications Event in San Diego Convention Center.
