Jungo Releases Version 7.02 of WinDriver USB/PCI for Windows,
Windows CE, Linux and Solaris
New version includes firmware and driver development tools for Microchip-based USB designs

Jungo Software Technologies Inc., a leading provider of
USB/PCI software solutions,
today announced the release of version 7.02 of its
driver development toolkits –
WinDriver USB/PCI -
for cross operating system and multiple architecture host driver
development, and
WinDriver USB Device - for
USB firmware code generation.
The new release supports the Microchip PIC18F4550 development
board and includes
automated firmware and driver code generation.
The enhanced support is the result of a recent collaboration
between Microchip and Jungo to provide custom software solutions
for Microchip PIC® Microcontroller USB family.
WinDriver 7.02 also includes support for the latest Linux
kernels up to 2.6.13, for both 32bit and 64bit architectures, and
a new option to define an interrupt mask in the kernel-mode
interrupt transfer commands for PCI based devices.
