Belkin Selects Jungo’s Software for Mass Telco Deployment of DSL Routers
Belkin to deliver hundreds of thousands of managed DSL routers powered by Jungo’s OpenRG software platform to a leading Telco ISP
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 23, 2004
Jungo® Software Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of residential gateway software, today announced that its OpenRG software has been selected by Belkin for its managed DSL home networking routers. The joint solution will be deployed by a major telecommunications ISP for delivering home-networked services to hundreds of thousands of DSL subscribers.

Jungo’s OpenRG software platform is a scalable suite of software technologies that provides customer premise equipment (CPE) vendors with the infrastructure needed to bring residential gateways, wireless access points and integrated access devices (IADs) to market faster. OpenRG includes an optimized Linux-based operating system, optional VxWorks support, communication and routing protocols, network security (Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall), wireless LAN security, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Universal Plug and Play, Web-based management, remote upgrade capabilities, support for CableHome TM -based devices and a wide range of home networking applications.
