Hadara Selects Jungo Gateway Technologies

LONDON, UK, 28.9.2011
Jungo Ltd., a NDS Group company and leading provider of residential gateway software and remote management today announced that its full suite of gateway technologies has been chosen by Hadara, the leading Palestinian service provider. Hadara will use Jungo’s OpenRG middleware for residential gateways to support its new triple-play voice, video and data service, along with the Panorama, TR-069 based remote management system and the Jungo Connected Home service platform.
The Jungo technology suite provides an end to end solution for Hadara to deliver content around the home network, remote support for the quick and cost effective resolution of technical issues and the facility to deliver innovative new services to its subscribers through the home gateway.
Rami Shamshoum General Manager, Hadara, said: “We are currently the market leading ISP in Palestine but we recognise that to maintain this position we need to be able to respond to market forces quickly. Jungo’s technologies presented us with the means to do so both now and in the future. We see this as a long term partnership enabling us improve subscribers’ quality of experience while saving on our support costs, and thus increase ARPU and reduce OPEX moving forward”.
