SAN JOSE, USA, JULY 21 2008

Jungo Ltd., a leading provider of USB software protocol stacks and tools for driver development and testing, has joined with Ralink Technology Corporation to develop a unique low-footprint USB based Wi-Fi solution. This new solution enables equipment manufacturers to integrate Wi-Fi capabilities into non-native Wi-Fi platform designs using the USB interface. The cooperation combines Jungo's proven embedded USB software with Ralink's extensive knowledge of wireless chipset design.

Jungo's embedded stacks combined with Ralink's Wi-Fi chipsets enable OEMs and manufacturers of home entertainment equipment, automotive infotainment products and other embedded devices to add dynamic Wi-Fi capabilities to their designs without increasing their cost.

The Wi-Fi USB solution from Jungo and Ralink includes support for seamless integration of TCP/IP protocols via USB, universal security algorithms such as WPA, WEP and WEP2 and full support for all IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi standards.

"The collaboration between our companies has led to the creation of a new niche in the Wi-Fi enabled device market," says Ophir Herbst, Vice President and General Manager for Jungo Connectivity Software. "We believe that enabling manufacturers to integrate Wi-Fi capabilities seamlessly into USB enabled devices will provide long-term benefits to consumers."

"Ralink is pleased to partner with Jungo to offer the leading edge Wi-Fi enabled USB solutions that create new revenue opportunities for our customers," said Rick Jeng, President of Ralink Technology. "The Ralink-Jungo solution provides OEMs and ODMs an integrated solution that can enhance the performance of their products and help bring them to market faster."
