Jungo Releases Full Short-Range Connectivity Software for Android OS

SAN JOSE, CA, February 14, 2011 - Jungo Ltd., a leading provider of connectivity software, today announced the release of its short-range connectivity solution for the Android operating system.

Android, from Google, is the world's fastest growing operating system for smartphones and mobile Internet devices (MIDs). Jungo's feature-rich software solution will enable the OEMs of Android-based devices to easily integrate advanced USB and Bluetooth functionality into their products and bring them rapidly and cost-effectively to market.

Mobile application processors require short-range connectivity for a wide range of use cases, including USB-IC support for digital baseband, USB device functionality for PC suites and connectivity with in-vehicle Infotainment systems for Ethernet tethering, Terminal Mode, application sharing and media streaming. These protocols and others are supported by the Jungo solution.

Device OEMs using Android to deliver advanced mobile functionality will benefit from Jungo's strong partnerships with leading mobile chipset vendors and the company's deep integration experience, both of which will enable OEMs to quickly validate and release their Jungo-based designs to meet market demand.
