Beta version of WinDriver USB

Enables quick, high performance USB device driver development, and easy USB hardware verification.

December 1st, 1999 (KRFTech, Israel): KRFTech is proud to announce the release of "WinDriver USB" - the USB device driver development toolkit.

WinDriver USB enables developers to quickly develop high performance drivers for USB based devices. WinDriver USB includes the "DriverWizard", which tests the USB hardware through a Windows interface and generates the USB driver source code for the hardware device.

Using WinDriver USB, developers can create USB drivers without having to use the DDK (Microsoft Driver Development Kit), and without any USB / Operating system knowledge. WinDriver USB provides user-mode APIs to your hardware, which you can call from within your application. Debugging the USB driver is then done with standard application-level debugging tools (such as MS Visual Studio and Borland Builder).

After developing the USB driver, and debugging it in the user-mode, the WinDriver Kernel PlugIn (also included) enables the developer to 'drop' the user-mode code into the kernel, for optimal performance.

WinDriver USB also includes the WinDriver Monitor, the DriverWizard, and other tools for the driver development process.

Availability:
A full featured, 30 day evaluation of WinDriver USB Beta is available for download from the KRFTech web site at http://www.krftech.com/usb.html. The WinDriver USB toolkit is available at an introductory price of $1900 (instead of the $2900 list price). This offer is valid through December 31, 1999. WinDriver USB supports Windows 98/2000. A later release will include Windows NT.
