WinDriver 7.01 Released! Jungo Releases Version 7.01 of WinDriver USB/PCI for Windows, Windows CE, Linux and Solaris.

The new release aligns the support for desktop Windows, Windows CE, Linux and Solaris, featuring uniform APIs and seamless driver migration between the different operating systems. WinDriver 7.01 also includes enhanced support for the .NET environment with dedicated PCI/USB .NET C# DLLs and a driver sample to facilitate the development of high performance and cross platform device drivers for the Microchip PIC18F4550 USB Micro controller.

.NET Extended WinDriver Support (NEW!) The new 7.01 version of WinDriver extends and improves WinDriver's support for the .NET framework and enables you to easily create .NET drivers for USB and PCI devices.

To support the development in .NET WinDriver includes:
  • A .NET version of the WinDriver APIs, implemented using managed extensions for C++.
  • A sample .NET USB library in C# and a USB diagnostics application, implemented both in C# and in VB.NET.
  • A sample C# PCI library and diagnostics application for PLX devices.

The Jungo OS agnostic USB software allows hardware manufactures to easily implement USB connectivity in their embedded devices based on the Atmel AT91 ARM Thumb Micro controllers.
