Jungo's Professional Services ported WinDriver to Linux x86 64 bit for ClearSpeed's high-performance MCUs
Learn how ClearSpeed used the
WinDriver
tool to develop high-performance drivers to control its
CSX600 microprocessor, designed to be used alongside general-purpose processors as an accelerator
for high-performance computing.
In order to support clusters based on AMD and Intel 64-bit CPUs, Jungo's Professional Services Team ported WinDriver to Linux x86 64-bit. WinDriver's cross-platform architecture allowed ClearSpeed to support both Windows and Linux on 32-bit and 64-bit systems, while utilizing the support for DMA to reach a remarkable performance of 25 Gigaflops.
