Jungo Releases Version 8.02 of WinDriver USB/PCI for Windows, Windows CE / Mobile 5.0, Linux and Solaris

WinDriver Enables DTA s.l.r to Reach Maximum Attainable PCI Bus Bandwidth Read why DTA s.r.l. chose Jungo's WinDriver PCI toolkit for their FDL-PCI, a fast parallel PCI interface card used across their cooled digital CCD camera series. The FDL-PCI is based on a QuickLogic FPGA, supporting bus-mastering DMA data transfer. The WinDriver based driver includes support for DMA, allowing DTA to reach the maximum attainable PCI bus bandwidth (133MB/s).

Jungo Releases Updated USBware CDC Function Driver As part of its USBware (embedded USB software stack) product line, Jungo has released an updated version of the CDC function driver. Designed to reside on top of Jungo's USB Device Stacks, the CDC function driver includes support for the USB-IF Communication Device Class as well as the Wireless Mobile Communication Devices (WMC) Subclass specifications.

The function driver includes implementation for ACM, ECM and OBEX, allowing mobile devices to function as modems and general networking peripherals transferring the data over the USB bus.

The USBware Device Stack supports multiple interfaces, composite device enumeration and interface association descriptors (IAD), enabling mobile phones to use multiple protocols and data encapsulation concurrently.

New On-line Demos for the WinDriver Product Family The WinDriver USB/PCI Driver Development Toolkit enables developers to create high-performance, cross-platform custom device drivers for USB 1.1/2.0, PCI, PCI Express, under Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista, Windows CE / Mobile 5.0, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks.

The WinDriver USB Device Firmware Development Toolkit simplifies and facilitates the development of firmware for USB devices based on the Cypress EZ-USB FX2LP, Silicon Laboratories C8051F320/F340, Philips PDIUSBD12 and Microchip PIC18F4550 development boards.
