Jungo Releases USBTester Version 1.01, Enabling Quick and Easy USB Device Validation USBTester 1.01 enables developers to test for USB chapter 9 conformance and verify mass storage functionality

Jungo's new innovative product USBTester, is a USB testing tool that enables USB developers to quickly validate their USB devices for USB compatibility, Chapter 9 conformance and mass storage functionality and performance.

With the release of version 1.01, USBTester now includes the ability to export tests logs in XML format. In addition, the mass storage performance tests were enhanced with a set of configurable parameters for read and write tests.

Jungo Introduces A new Evaluation Version of USB ECM (Ethernet Control Module) Class Driver Jungo released a complete and comprehensive evaluation version of its USB CDC ECM driver, in addition to CDC ACM, OBEX and USB2Serial evaluation versions.

The CDC ECM driver exposes the USB device as a network adapter to the operating system. In this model, various Ethernet functions are managed through a communication interface, and the actual Ethernet framed data is sent over the data interface. The driver supports NDIS 5.0/5.1 and NDIS 6.0.

The evaluation version enables validation of various features provided by the protocol, and includes installation and testing utilities, which are provided with source code to allow further integration with the customers' installers.

Jungo Releases WinDriver 9.01 New WinDriver version has been released on June 17th. Version 9.01 includes various new features, enhancements and bug fixes, such as support for Linux kernels 2.6.20-21, improved USB samples, digital signature for WinDriver PCI Kernel PlugIn and more. Jungo recommends upgrading to the latest WinDriver version to enable more robust and better featured driver performance to your application. Subscribers of WinDriver Support and Maintenance plan are entitled to free upgrade and evaluators are entitled to 30 days of fully featured and free evaluation.
