Jungo Releases New USBware MTP Class Driver
The Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) is designed for content exchange between a portable media device and a PC, as well as for remote command and control of the device from the PC. USBware's new MTP Class Driver (MTP Initiator) will allow media centers, HDTVs, and embedded automotive infotainment systems, direct connectivity and control over many MTP-enabled devices. The new MTP Class Driver supports all MTP-compliant devices, as well as all certified PlaysForSure devices. In addition, support for vendor extensions, such as MS DRM and MTP enhanced command sets, is also available.

By utilizing the latest MTP Class Drivers from Jungo, vendors can enhance the user experience of their products. The addition of Jungo's MTP Class Driver to the existing device-side solution - an MTP Function Driver (MTP Responder) - presents device manufactures with a complete end-to-end MTP software solution.
