The latest version of WinDriver was released earlier this week. New features include: Enhanced support for PCI and PCI Express Messaged-Signaled Interrupts (MSI) and Extended Messaged-Signaled Interrupts (MSI-X), including DriverWizard GUI and code generation improvements, new Kernel PlugIn APIs, and modified sample code; a new Kernel PlugIn sample for the Xilinx Virtex 5 PCI Express Chip; and support for shared PCI interrupts on Windows CE.
The WinDriver product line enables driver development for USB, PCI, PCI Express, CardBus, CompactPCI, ISA, PMC, PCI-X, PCI-104 and PCMCIA based devices, and supports Windows 2000/XP/XP Embedded/Server 2003/Vista, Windows CE.NET, Windows Mobile, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks.
