Jungo Supports Micrium's Real-Time Embedded Operating Systems and FAT File System

SAN JOSE, California and WESTON, Florida, January 18, 2005 - Jungo Software Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of USB/PCI software solutions, and Micrium, a leading provider of high quality software for the embedded market today announced a partnership wherein Jungo's Embedded USB software supports Micrium's µC/OS-II real-time embedded operating system and µC/FS file system.

Micrium's µC/OS-II operating system is a highly portable, ROMable, scalable, preemptive, real-time, multitasking kernel. µC/OS-II is added to a respectful list of embedded OSs supported by Jungo's Universal Serial Bus (USB) Host, Device and On-The-Go (OTG) software solutions. Jungo's USB software stack enables software and device manufacturers of PDAs, mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, set-top boxes and other consumer devices, to quickly and easily implement USB functionality in host or peripheral products that do not natively support USB.

Jungo's USB software includes the support for the following class / function drivers: Mass Storage, HID, Audio, Video, Printer, PictBridge, Serial, RemoteNDIS and CDC. Specific custom drivers can be developed by Jungo's professional services department.

Jungo's Mass Storage class driver and Micrium's µC/FS provide customers with proprietary operating systems with the ability to easily incorporate a FAT32 compliant file system in their products. µC/FS is a FAT file system, which can be used on any media with basic hardware access functions. µC/FS is a high performance library that has been optimized for speed, versatility and memory footprint.
