First Toolkit to Allow Host Driver and Firmware Development for USB Devices

San Jose, Calif. - Mar. 21, 2005 - Jungo Software Technologies today announced the launch of WinDriver Universal Serial Bus (USB) for device firmware development, a complementary tool to a new version of its market leading USB/PCI host driver development toolkit - WinDriver v7.0.
Additional key features of WinDriver 7.0 include developing device drivers under the .NET environment, PCI-Express bus enhanced support, and 64-bit support for the Linux operating system.

The WinDriver USB Device toolkit simplifies and facilitates the development of firmware for USB devices. This toolkit complements Jungo's standard WinDriver USB/PCI toolkit, designed to enable development of high-performance device drivers on host PCs running Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Server 2003, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks.
WinDriver Device enables manufacturers of USB peripherals to easily generate firmware that defines the desired USB interface, using an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI).
