Jungo Launches WinDriver™ USB for Device Firmware as Part of its Newly Announced Version 7.0
First Toolkit to Allow Host Driver and Firmware Development for USB Devices
San Jose, Calif. - Mar. 21, 2005 - Jungo Software Technologies today announced the launch of WinDriver Universal Serial Bus (USB) for device firmware development, a complementary tool to a new version of its market leading USB/PCI host driver development toolkit - WinDriver v7.0.
The WinDriver USB Device toolkit simplifies and facilitates the development of firmware for USB devices.
This toolkit complements Jungo's standard WinDriver USB/PCI toolkit, designed to enable development of high-performance device drivers on host PCs running Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Server 2003, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks. "USB device manufacturers can now utilize Jungo's end-to-end toolkit to simplify and shorten their product development cycle." said Omry Ben David, marketing manager of the Software Tools division at Jungo. "Along with the new features and enhancements of WinDriver v7.0, Jungo now offers a comprehensive USB development software solution, both for the device firmware and the host driver development stages."
