Jungo Software Technologies, Inc., and Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR) today announced that Jungo's WinDriver 7.00 device driver development toolkit supports Altera's PCI Development Kit, Cyclone™ II edition. This close, collaborative effort between the two companies enables designers to easily develop PCI and PCI-X drivers for Altera's Cyclone II FPGA family - the latest in the Cyclone series of industry-leading low-cost FPGAs.

Jungo's WinDriver enables the creation of high-performance cross-platform device drivers for Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Server 2003, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks. Featuring a graphical development environment, intuitive application programming interfaces (APIs), hardware diagnostic utilities, and device driver samples, WinDriver offers the easiest and fastest way to develop first-rate drivers successfully.
