Jungo's WinDriver toolkit bundled with QuickLogic's 64-bit QuickPCIRDK to speed up the driver development process
Embedded Systems Conference, San Francisco, California (Booth #2006) - April 22, 2003 - QuickLogic Corporation (Nasdaq: QUIK), the pioneer of ESP (Embedded Standard Product) technology and Jungo Software Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of driver development tools, today announced that QuickLogic's QL5064 Reference Development Kit (RDK) includes Jungo's WinDriver driver development tool. This combination provides QuickLogic customers with a quick and easy-to-use solution for their driver and hardware access application development needs.
QuickLogic's QuickPCI family combines the guaranteed performance of an embedded PCI controller with a flexible FPGA fabric on a single piece of silicon. "By coupling QuickPCI products with Jungo's driver development tools, customers gain the resources they need to get their devices through the development cycle faster," said Art Whipple, Vice President and General Manager of QuickLogic's Logic Products. QuickLogic is the only IC vendor to offer PCI bridge products with on-chip FPGAs.
The WinDriver driver development tool includes graphical development environments, intuitive Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), hardware diagnostic services and debug utilities that enable high-performance driver development. Additionally, the tool includes libraries of code customized for QuickPCI devices to further accelerate driver development.
"Teaming with QuickLogic reinforces Jungo's position as a leader in the driver development and hardware access development market," said Ophir Herbst, software tools general manager at Jungo. "This combination provides designers a one-stop hardware/software solution for developing PCI devices and drivers."
