Jungo and Coresma Demonstrate Complete Reference Design at Cable 2001 for Integrated Access Devices and Residential Gateways
Design Provides Broadband Equipment Manufacturers with a Robust Ready-Made Solution for Getting Cable Modem Based Gateways to Market Faster

www.jungo.com/openrg) a residential gateway software platform provider and Coresma Inc., (www.coresma.com) the leading provider of host-based, programmable broadband solutions, join to demonstrate cable modem-based residential gateways highlighting Jungo's software solution and Coresma's CICM PCI cable modem. The demonstration will take place at the NCTA Cable 2001 show in Chicago, June 11-13, 2001.
Coresma's CICM host-based internal cable modem is integrated into a UAT SG-1000 gateway and an Allwell residential gateway. The two reference design gateways feature National Semiconductor's (NYSE: NSM) Geode processor and are powered by Jungo's OpenRG software solution.
Jungo's OpenRG is a residential gateway software platform that enables Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to bring broadband customer premises equipment (CPE) such as residential gateways, SOHO gateways and Internet Access Devices (IADs) to market quickly. OpenRG offers advanced broadband features and applications such as home networking, web-based management and security.

- Broadband Internet sharing (NAT/PAT)
- Security including firewall, intrusion and DOS protection, access policy configuration
- "Plug and Play" networking with DHCP server and client, auto learning DNS, web-based management and SNMP
- Remote management capabilities - web-based and SNMP
