OpenRG support for the Intel IXP22x processors offers a complete software solution for the delivery of secure and reliable Residential Gateway platforms. This high performance, low cost reference design enables system vendors and service providers to accelerate time to market and cost-effectively develop and deploy products using a broadband access line. The Intel IXP core is tailored for network processing, and supports two Network Processor Engines (NPEs) for boosted performance, and reaches wire speed performance rates.
OpenRG is a scalable suite of software infrastructure and technologies that OEMs require in order to bring residential gateways / IADs to market.
