announced that the two companies have integrated Jungo's OpenRG
TM
software with Mindspeed's Comcerto 100 broadband gateway processors. The
integrated product targets operators that plan to fully utilize their fiber
access network capacity to deliver media-rich services.
The integrated product is a high performance, Gigabit Ethernet and
voice-over-IP (VoIP) platform that enables operators to offer their
customers home entertainment applications, such as high definition IPTV and
video on demand. The new solution has been selected by OEMs such as JStream
Technologies for their next-generation broadband gateway and broadband
home router designs.

The Comcerto 100 broadband gateway processor powered by Jungo's software
enables service providers to deploy sophisticated, reliable services with
the high-packet throughput required for delivering next-generation
multimedia content to their subscribers. It offers intelligent sophisticated
data routing with quality of service (QoS), carrier-class VoIP, IPv6
support, virtual private networks with firewalls, as well as seamless
support for multiple, emerging local area network (LAN) and wide area
network (WAN) networking technologies.
