OSAP provides a cloud-based API framework for the integration of digital home services into a variety of access methods and devices, both vertical and horizontal. Users gain intuitive and secure access to all services via web portals, TV remote UIs, mobile applications, or any combination of the above. At the same time, service providers expose their brand, promote new services, and increase stickiness.

OSAP is designed to leverage the gateway software as a source of 'service enablers' for home applications, rather than implementing the applications entirely on the gateway itself. This means that services can be developed on the server side with minimal modification to the CPE, simplifying both the development and launch processes.

Jungo's OSAP Software Development Kit (SDK) allows service providers to develop their own home broadband services independently or with third-party vendors, using comprehensive APIs that support industry standards.
