Sunnyvale, Calif. and Palo Alto, Calif., June 11, 2001

Jungo Software Technologies Inc., (www.jungo.com/st/openrg) a residential gateway software platform provider and Coresma Inc., (www.coresma.com) the leading provider of host-based, programmable broadband solutions, join to demonstrate cable modem-based residential gateways highlighting Jungo’s software solution and Coresma’s CICM™ PCI cable modem. The demonstration will take place at the NCTA Cable 2001 show in Chicago, June 11-13, 2001.

Coresma’s CICM host-based internal cable modem is integrated into a UAT SG-1000 gateway and an Allwell residential gateway. The two reference design gateways feature National Semiconductor’s (NYSE: NSM) Geode™ processor and are powered by Jungo’s OpenRG software solution.

Jungo’s OpenRG is a residential gateway software platform that enables Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to bring broadband customer premises equipment (CPE) such as residential gateways, SOHO gateways and Internet Access Devices (IADs) to market quickly. OpenRG offers advanced broadband features and applications such as home networking, web-based management and security.

“Residential gateways are changing the way voice, video and data services are delivered to the home,” commented Chris Kukshtel, Vice President of Marketing for Coresma. “The Coresma CICM, combined with Jungo’s software provides an excellent platform for OEMs to build feature-rich gateways.”

“Jungo is enabling the Home / SOHO residential market by providing robust software solutions and reference designs for ready to ship gateways,” said Udi Yuhjtman, Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Jungo. “We are excited to work with Coresma, putting forward flexible reference designs for cable-based IAD manufacturers.”

A demonstration of the reference design is available at the Cable 2001 show in Chicago, June 11-13 at Jungo’s booth #3254, and includes:
