LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 6th January, 2014 ­– Jungo Connectivity Ltd, a leading provider of automotive middleware and connectivity solutions, today announced that it had integrated with NVIDIA, the leader in visual computing, to provide an ultra-fast solution for the burgeoning In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) market.

The solution will be demonstrated during the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas on both the Jungo Connectivity booth – MP 25558, LVCC, South Hall 2 – and at the GENIVI CES Demonstration Showcase and Network Reception – Trump Hotel, 60th Floor, Suite 6008.

By utilizing NVIDIA’s innovative Tegra SoC reference platform for in-vehicle infotainment development with Jungo’s MediaCore 4.5 multimedia and device connectivity middleware, Jungo is able to provide the latest automotive multimedia functionality.

MediaCore 4.5 incorporates the latest multimedia technologies for audio, video and photo playback, as well as wide-ranging device connectivity, including the latest specifications for Android and Apple devices.  MediaCore 4.5 also provides optimized and configurable cataloguing of media, in-car multimedia sharing, multi-zone audio and video, and device-specific performance and user experience optimizations for the latest consumer devices on the market.

NVIDIA’s powerful and energy-efficient Tegra mobile processors integrate a quad-core ARM CPU, a GPU, and dedicated audio, video and image processors. NVIDIA processors are driving in-vehicle infotainment innovation in Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls Royce, Tesla Motors, VW and other leading brands.

The integrated product is now available for demonstration and evaluation.
