UAT Inc. and Jungo Software Technologies Inc. Partner to Provide a Robust Broadband Integrated Access Device
The UAT SG -1000 broadband gateway includes the National Semiconductor Corp. Geode processor and is powered by Jungo’s OpenRG software platform

UAT Inc. and Jungo Software Technologies Inc., today announced the availability of a complete broadband Integrated Access Device (IAD), the UAT SG -1000.
Service Providers who are looking for a robust, ‘ready-to-run’ IAD can today utilize the SG – 1000 gateway to provide all the networking and high-level applications required by the broadband enabled home and SOHO markets. The UAT-Jungo solution will enable service providers to remotely offer their customers a wide range of revenue generating services such as Internet sharing, seamless “Plug and Play” home networking, Wireless access point, Broadband sharing and firewalling.

UAT will demonstrate SG – 1000 at Computex Taipei 2001, June 4-8, in the Grand Hyatt Taipei, room no. 2510.

The SG – 1000 includes:
- Small Footprint Linux based OS
- Broadband Internet Sharing – NAT/PAT
- Security – Stateful inspection Firewall, Intrusion and DOS protection, Access Policy configuration
- “Plug and Play” networking – DHCP server and client, Auto learning DNS
- Remote management capabilities – Web based and SNMP
The SG – 1000 gateway will be soon available with Conexant Systems’ AccessRunner™ multi-function ADSL chipset.
