Embedded DLNA and WiFi Stack
Easily incorporate a standard WiFi connectivity in your design
WiFi connectivity is increasingly being used in embedded devices for personal area connectivity
and for sharing media content, in addition to the traditional local area network connectivity.
This is being driven by the following:
- Most PCs today come with WiFi ports, and many embedded devices (such as mobile phones, media players, TVs, set-top-boxes) are now being built with WiFi ports.
- WiFi transfer rates are order of magnitude higher than most PAN wireless protocols such as Bluetooth
Jungo's WiFi & DLNA Protocol Stack offers a complete, high quality and small footprint WiFi implementation solution, allowing device manufactures to easily incorporate standard WiFi connectivity in their designs.
Jungo's WiFi & DLNA stack include all building blocks needed to implement embedded WiFi connectivity:- DLNA Media Server, Media client and Media control protocols
- UpnP, UPnP/AV
- Support for file systems, storage media, synchronization with external storage
- DHCP, QoS and other IP protocol
- TCP/IP stack
- WiFi stack
- Support for key chipsets (RaLink, RealTek, Intel, Broadcom, TI, and others)
WiFi & DLNA Stack Use-Cases:
Jungo's DLNA & WiFi Protocol Stack provides support for the following use-cases:- Transfer of photos taken from mobile handsets and digital camera onto PCs
- Sharing of movies from embedded storage devices onto TVs
- Adding networking support to legacy STBs over USB enabled networking devices
- Implementing DLNA server capabilities in embedded storage devices such as cameras, phones, hard disks
- Implementing DLNA client/control capabilities in embedded players such as TVs, STBs, Automotive Infotainment Systems
- Automotive Infotainment Systems - sharing stored videos to backseats
